Greetings to All!!! I will reporting here on a weekly basis from the new Bait Shop here in Madison Lake (Walt's Hook Line and Sinker), from the fishermen for the fishermen!
Panfish: It has been a great season for panfishing, with reports from German, East Jeff, and Madison Lake. The sunfish on Madison have been caught in 12-14 via panfish leeches and waxies. The Jefferson chains have been a little slow, reporting wise, but have been caught in 8-12 mostly along weedlines, with a variety of live baits and our new friend MR. Gulp! Bass: We have seen and heard of very large bass in German and Tetonka. There have been a few reports also from Duck Lake. Nothern: Multiple reports of nothern from East Jeff along shallow areas 8-12 running raps: rattle, floaters and countdowns. Walleye: A little slow on the reporting, don't blame anyone for this, compared the year I have been having!! Some reports from Washington and Madison, been trying to sqeeze out details, but not much luck on depths or baits, hey stop in and let us know. Minnesota and Blue Earth River: The rivers are starting to cooperate a little for the larger flat catfish. Heard reports from the 7 mile area and around the St. Peter boat landing via 7 inch bull heads and larger suckers. I have had a little luck on the Blue Earth off Hwy 33 for a good variety of walleye, saugers and every fish that will chew on crawlers. I love this smilie ![]() |
